Hi everyone!

I hope the past few days have given you abundant time to ponder potential fundraising efforts for the NYC. On Tuesday's call, we discussed possibly individually leading fundraising campaigns in our local communities and then consolidating the funds to donate to a non-profit or foundation for Global Youth Service Day- such a united effort would showcase the youth council's active involvement in the day we otherwise so ardently promote, and would also allow us to engage in a service project as a cohesive team. Also discussed was the advantage of allocating a fraction of those proceeds to the youth council itself- to fund perhaps more face-to-face meetings or more intricate projects.
